B’nai B’rith Housing works with cities and towns to create economically viable, affordable housing options which respond to the needs and aspirations of each community. We are always looking for new opportunities to build affordable housing in Greater Boston’s high cost communities.
The Coolidge at Sudbury
B’nai B’rith Housing’s upcoming development is a 64 unit rental community for seniors and older adults, ages 55 and older. It provides a housing alternative that does not currently exist in Sudbury–an affordable rental option for Sudbury resdients as well as seniors who may relocate to be closer to children and grandchildren. The name “The Coolidge” pays homage to the family who began the substantial greenhouse operation on the site in the 1800s.
Austin Street in Newtonville
This winter, the City of Newton will be looking for a partner to redevelop a parking lot in Newtonville into mixed use housing and commercial space. The site on Austin Street is next to Starbucks and across from Star Market. B’nai B’rith Housing intends to submit a proposal to develop this lot.
